| I present them a privileged place: Alcudia.
An exceptional location: As it indicates their name (Alcudia means in Arabic, mound) it is located in a hill in the center of two bays, fact that gives him/her, to other of a special charm, beaches and creeks of a value natural inigualable. This together with their mediterranean climate, he/she makes him to be a magnificent place of rest and vacations.
But Alcudia is not only beaches and sun. Their History: The ruins of the Roman city of Pol•lèntia, the medieval walled city, the Roman theater, the prehistoric caves, the talaiots... Their Culture: A pioneer library in their style, an Auditory with unbeatable services... Deport: A great polideportivo, a gym with the most modern equipment, soccer field with artificial grass... but Alcudia also has a natural landscape: sea, mountains, ponds and lakes, with unique conditions for the practice of any sport.
And the most fundamental thing, their more important value: Their people. People that have known how to conjugate the respect to their history, their traditions, their parties and their gastronomy, with the welcome of the numerous tourists and residents of other places of the world, and to open them the doors of their city. People that has made an effort in the conservation of their cultural patrimony and paisajístico. We have been pioneer in environmental topics and give of the year 1992 Alcudia Municipality it is declared Ecoturístico.
The challenge of Alcudia of the XXI century is to adapt at the new times, without losing its identity.
