S´ALBUFERETA

This tour explores the wetland of l'Albufereta and a landscape combining fields and unirrigated land with the Bay of Pollença always within view. The walks starts and finishes at Plaça de la Porta de Mallorca. We recommend that you travel by bicycle.

Exit Alcúdia on avinguda d'Inca, the road to Palma. 20 metres after the roundabout turn right onto camí dels Braçals (asphalted road). Follow the road for 5 or 6 Km ignoring the side roads. Cross the first stream. Follow the road. For a good part of the route, the road runs parallel to the sea and at the end the road turns away from the sea following a larger stream. Follow the stream until you cross it when the road reaches the Pollença-Alcúdia road along the coast. Turn right towards the sea.

After 3 kilometres you will reach the Alcúdia-Port de Pollença road along the sea. Turn right towards Alcúdia. L'Albufereta is now on your right. From here on, the route is very clear. Follow the road to Alcúdia. Watch the traffic along this section. At La Marina the road turns away from the sea. After a short while you will reach Alcúdia.
