“El Rei en Jaume”: A character representing King Jaume I. The character rides a horse and wears the luxurious Medieval clothes of a King.

“El Rei Moro”: A character representing the Moorish King. It also rides a horse and performs a fight dance with the figure of King Jaume I.

Maria Enganxa: This character walks around with a hook and a bucket, looking as if she had just come out of a cistern. Mallorcan children always had her in mind when looking down a fountain or a cistern. Grownups used to warn children that if they looked down Maria Enganxa would come out and pull them down with her. She chases people catching their feet with a hock to collect figs.

Ramón Llull: This character does not need an introduction. It represents the Mallorcan philosopher, writer and religious person. The giants goes around with a book full of letter-shaped biscuits that he gives to children.
